Thanks everyone for coming out on a Tuesday night! There were a couple competing crossover events but it was still a nice time. Up next are some Initial Shock co-presentations with Suoni per il Popolo, including Lucas Abela and Death Kneel on June 25, and then Initial Shock IV weekend begins on July 3! Suoni per il Popolo presents a session of experimental sound at La Sotterenea on June 25th. Featuring Lucas ‘Granpa’ Abela (formerly Justice Yeldham) performing on his signature instrument: amplified glass shards. The bill includes double bassist Alex Motta and violinist Aleida Perez for a set of contemporary improvisation, alongside DEATH KNEEL, the project of Max Klebanoff, who uses binaural manipulation and the Octatrack. Tickets: 20-27$.
